Irish-born designer Jonathan Anderson, founder of the J W Anderson brand, has been announced as creative director of Spanish leather label Loewe.

Anderson expressed his excitement for the partnership with the LVMH Fashion Group-owned brand, saying he's 'thrilled to join the house of Loewe, one of the oldest leather-goods houses in the world, where I have found an exceptional craftsmanship combined with purity and lightness'. LVMH also announced it's acquired a stake in Anderson's brand, following last week's acquisition of Nicholas Kirkwood.
